Interview with Michael Jay and Parker Jacobs

Michael Jay is a Boise writer who grew up in Detroit, graduated from Harvard, earned his MBA at Northeastern University, and even spent some time at the Kennedy Institute of Politics during the Watergate years. His debut novel in memoir, Dog Water Free, is a touching coming-of-age story of a young boy who makes it against some big odds.

We also touch bases with former guest, Parker Jacobs, 4-time Emmy nominated artist and author of the new interactive children’s book, The Goonholler Guidebook.

The Writers’ Block Interview with Michael Jay and Parker Jacobs

(though the majority of the conversation made it in, we are sad to report this interview’s recording was interrupted at 47 minutes)
