The Writers’ Block airs on Boise Community Radio KRBX 89.9 every Thursday from 12-1. Listen in as we talk with local and national authors, answer questions about the publishing industry, and generally appreciate all things literary in a relaxed, you-never-know-what-might-happen forum. We have welcomed New York Times-acclaimed authors Anthony Doerr, Alan Heathcock, and Mitch Wieland; best selling children’s author, Jan Brett; poet and filmmaker, J. Reuben Appelman; editors from Penguin and St. Martin’s; as well as other creative types such as Yo Gabba Gabba! art director, Parker Jacobs; Comedy television writing veteran, Bob Sand; and Academy Award winner, George Kennedy… just to name drop a few.
