David Abrams currently resides in Butte, Montana but holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Alaska. He is an Army veteran who served a tour in Iraq and was named top military journalist in the Department of Defense in 1988. Hailed by the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Publisher’s Weekly, his debut novel, Fobbit is a darkly comic fictional look at the Iraq war, told as only someone who has lived through it can tell.
